Blackberry & Basil Mojito

Blackberry & Basil Mojito

Mojitos are wonderfully popular during summer. The drinks combination of sweetness, citrus and herb is intended to complement the rum. Let’s kick it up a notch and drive seasonality by adding fresh blackberry juice and replacing mint with basil to create a refreshing and refined tasting cocktail. For added blackberry flavor be liberal and juice extra berries to achieve a deeper taste. Recipe note: during step 2 of muddling, you are releasing the flavor of the basil and combining it with the remaining ingredients. Operate gently, don’t pulverize the leaves.
